I never really understood the whole credit crisis thing that got us into this mess, but now I do because I watched this brilliant bit. It’s 11 minutes long, but it’s brilliant in its clarity. It takes something very complex and makes it quite clear.

And very depressing.

Rush Limbaugh, all dressed in black like Johnny Cash, his lower face bulging like Marlon Brando’s in the Godfather, his shiny hair plastered back like some fat blood-sucking vampire’s, his eyes two sly and sinister slits, wants you to be happy. Truly he does. Because he knows he’s very close to becoming God, and Gods always want their worshipers to be happy.

The thing is Barack Obama wants you to be happy, too.

He wants you to have a job. That’s what he’s trying to accomplish. He’s trying to get the economy moving so that we can all have jobs. He’s not trying to introduce or institutionalize socialism. He’s just trying to find something that works.

But Rush Limbaugh knows what’s best for the rest of us, and Rush Limbaugh wants our new President to fail.

But It’s Not a Football Game

I know some of you might find it distasteful, but click the big arrow holding up his chin and listen to the billionaire talk. He uses a football analogy, he talks about wanting the Steelers to beat the Cardinals. And that’s what it comes down to. He doesn’t care how many jobless people have to suffer the next four or eight years. He doesn’t care how many people lose their houses, as long as his team wins.

Someone should knock him on his ass.
